Exceeded expectations!

Exceeded expectations! Room was massive, was clean and very comfortable. Staff were so nice, and the breakfast was brilliant - very good value for money! The location was perfect as well. Definitely staying here again!

The only thing was that it was very warm - not a bad complaint either!

Always pleasant, great location

Clean, comfy bed, tea/coffee facilities, location, reasonable rates. I like the old world charm. This was my third stay at this hotel and I will stay here again

They don't provide bar soap or regular shampoo, but I knew this so brought my own. This was the first time out of three stays that my room faced the street and there was some noise

Decent hotel and would definately return.

Fantastic location, literally 2 minute walk to Temple Bar area. We arrived early morning and although we knew check it wasn't until afternoon it was no problem for us to leave our bags with reception staff so we were free to enjoy our day. Staff were very pleasant and chatty. We did not dine or have breakfast in the hotel so cannot pass comment on food.

Great location, friendly staff, decent price, but definitely showing it age.

Location was great for getting around on foot! Staff was courteous and friendly.

Room was in need of updating. Small television didn’t work. Apparently, the batteries were dead in the remote, but the staff never replaced them after realizing. Hall was strewn with linens and empty water bottles all the way to our room when we checked in.

Dublin was awesome but will never stay at this hotel again, just not the right choice for my famil

1. The front desk staff was lovely and very accommodating . 2. The proximity to all sightseeing

1. The noise level down the street could be heard clearly because the windows were old single pane. You heard people walking / talking and we were on the 4th floor. You felt like you were at the bar and the music was heard clear as day while in your room. 2. Showers were dating, difficult to step up into and water pressure was terrible

Hotel needs more airy rooms.

Hotel needs more airy rooms. It was roasting and it does affect your sleep but otherwise I do adore this hotel. I love how it has kept its old school glamour and it is timeless.

Great location!

Rooms are very small, too small, hard to move even with two persons in a double room. Shower pushed only very hot water, had to change the room, no problem with that, the staff was very helpful. But. Internet access was not working at all in the room, and was on very low mode all over the hotel. Nowadays in Europe it’s inexcusable, people have to rely on that these things work, some of us are also working while our stays. Think that this hotel is counting on its great location ...

A small, older central and convenient hotel with Dublin history

Centrality and convenience

One receptionist told me I could not get a late check out but when I rang the following morning early and got someone else they told me that there was not a problem and my check out time was extended from 1200-1300 without any fuss - due to a late morning meeting this made a huge difference to my schedule and if the member of staff had not obliged I might have thought differently of the hotel. Very efficient!

Everything, were miss lead to believe it was a clean,...

Everything, were miss lead to believe it was a clean, elegant hotel, and we were put in a noisy, small room that cause us to feel angry during our entire stay. Would not recommend. Staff was apologetic but that was not helpful. They shifted room for second night near the generators near the back bldg. and had to change again. Felt un-rested and stressed when we left. I enjoyed my stay. Bus 747 takes you from Terminal 2 at airport for 7 euros. Taxi to airport 25 euro

Location is center of all activities. Bars with music everywhere, I think 24 hours eveyday.I like all the life. If you like quit, don't stay here.Close to outside mall that takes you to Stephen Green Mall.You wall left from exit of Hotel, there is a McDonalds about 5 minutes. Then take a right at the McDonalds, you run into outside mall with many musicians playing outside.

Breakfast at hotel is 5 euro for cold cereal and 10 euro for eggs with meat. I am used to at $150 a day, this breakfast comes with price of hotel.

- Location. It is not far from main bus stops to and from Dublin airport. - Waiters at breakfast room was very polite and considerate. Nice coffee and cakes.
